This Policy explains how to delete your AdPilot AI account, what data is removed, and what we are required to retain. Read this together with our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
1. How to delete your account
- Sign in and go to Settings → Account.
- Click Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.
- If you cannot access your account, email privacy@adpilot.ai from the address registered to the account.
2. What happens immediately
- Your active subscription is cancelled and will not renew. No further charges will be made except for amounts already due.
- Your access to the Service is revoked.
- Your account is marked for deletion and queued for processing.
3. What is deleted
Within thirty (30) days of your request we delete or anonymize, from our active systems:
- Profile data (name, avatar, preferences).
- Uploaded product images and reference assets.
- Generated content stored in your library, including images and copy.
- Brand kits, collections and saved campaigns.
- API tokens and session identifiers.
4. What we retain and why
Some information must be retained even after account deletion, to the minimum extent necessary and only for the purposes described:
- Invoices and financial records — for up to eight (8) years to comply with Indian tax and accounting laws.
- Audit and security logs — for up to one (1) year for security and fraud prevention.
- Webhook and payment event records — for up to ninety (90) days for billing reconciliation and dispute handling.
- Suspension or abuse records — where necessary to enforce our policies or comply with legal obligations.
5. Backups
Residual copies of deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are rotated and overwritten. Such copies are not used for any active processing and are protected by the same security controls as primary data.
6. Generated assets you have downloaded or published
Account deletion does not retract licences you have already granted in respect of downloaded outputs, nor does it remove content you have published on third-party platforms. You remain responsible for managing such content directly.
7. Reactivation
Once an account is fully deleted, it cannot be reactivated. To use the Service again, you will need to create a new account.
